COVID-19 Statement

Updated 26th February 2021

As a responsible company, we closely and strictly monitored relevant legislation and guidance. Given the U.K. Government the announcement on 23rd March 2020 we had to postpone our World Lash University event due on the 17th May 2020.

Following an updated announcement on the 22nd February, sadly we now have to postpone our World Lash University event that was rescheduled for the 16th May 2021 in the interests of safety and compliance. We are delighted to announce that the new date is confirmed as Sunday 15th May 2022.

All tickets remain valid for our next event and we look forward to laying on a spectacular educational, inspirational and motivational event as you deserve it!

Whilst 2020 was to be the 2nd year for this amazing event, Julie, Katie and Zoe have not received any monetary rewards for the hundreds of hours that they have worked to organise it. All proceeds have been reinvested into the event so that our guests can have an amazing experience.

Important information

Despite having to postpone our 2020 event, we still ran the Online Competition and Business Awards to lift spirits. Our 2020 Ticket holders who entered the 2020 competition using their free entry had their entries honoured so long as they retained their ticket for the next event. Otherwise, we invited them to cover the full competition or award entry fee or withdraw their entry.

If they placed in our online competition or won any business awards and subsequently withdraw from our event, they’ll be required to either cover the full cost of the entry, or forfeit their position. Forfeiture would involve the return of their trophy and prizes. The podium will be adjusted accordingly and made public.

As a gift, everyone who bought their ticket that was intended for the 2020 event have another free entry for the online competition and business awards in the next event.

We hope that you understand our need to be strict regarding free entries for the competition and awards for ticket holders intended for the 2020 event.

Please contact us if you have any queries and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Update on 14th December 2020.

Given the U.K. Government the announcement on 23rd March 2020, sadly, we had to postpone our World Lash University event that was due to take place on the 17th May 2020.

We are delighted to announce that the new date is confirmed as Sunday 16th May 2021.

In consultation with our optimistic event coordinator at our award winning venue, we have made the decision to continue to prepare to run our amazing event on Sunday 16th May 2021.

As a responsible company, we’ll closely and strictly monitor relevant legislation and guidance. If this reveals that we can no longer hold World Lash University on that date, we will be forced to cancel in the interests of safety and compliance. We’ll contact all interested parties as soon as possible and in any case, within 24 hours by email of the sad decision being made.

World Lash Events Limited trading as World Lash University cannot be held responsible for any losses in respect of room bookings or travel plans that we expect suppliers would struggle to honour to as well.

We committed to those who bought their tickets before March 2020 that we would hold an event in 2021 due to our need to postpone the event in May 2020.

Should we be forced to cancel our event again on the 16th May 2021, we would love another opportunity to set a new date to give us all something special to look forward to in 2021. You can call us optimist and determined to have a great motivational, inspirational and educational time!

Anyone purchasing tickets after March 2020, do so on the understanding that their tickets have a degree of flexibility and will be honoured should our event be forced to postpone until later in the year.

Like you, we fear for the effects on our businesses too. We are sincerely grateful that 98% of our existing 2020 ticket holders stayed with us look forward to our mind-blowing educational, motivational and inspirational event next year.
